As part of Ukraine’s efforts to host Euro 2012, we have built a new terminal (58,000 m2 ) for Donetsk International Airport with an overpass, three-level parking for 605 cars, bus station, and other facilities.
The new terminal is designed to provide maximum comfort for passengers. A system of gates and boarding bridges allows passengers to enter the terminal directly from a plane. Covered galleries lead to the parking and bus station.
Arrival and Departure zones are separated which is very convenient for passengers.
The renovation of Donetsk International Airport involved the construction of the highest air traffic control tower in Ukraine equipped with up-to-date equipment.
